Plugin Update and a bit more!

Posted by Mike

General News Ok, so it's been a while again but I do have a very good reason this time, as at the beginning of september I was asked, along with another person from the WolfCMS community, to join the project team! That's right I'm now, along with Martijn one of the developers working on WolfCMS!
My main focus on the team is for bug fixing / testing leaving Martijn more time for working on the bigger picture.
So the next release (0.7.0) will contain contributions from myself, as I said they are mainly bug fixes but I have played a big part in the jQuery port that is currently going on at the moment!

So that has been the reason for the lack of updates, I've been busy working with jQuery for Wolf. That being said, after receiving an email it has been brought to my attention there was bug with mbForms if your form was placed on your homepage. (Cheers Simon!) This has been fixed and that zip file has been updated, just download and replace the files (backup any new / changed templates incase you overwrite them!). Alternatively just replace the following files:

- /mbforms/models/mbforms.php (bug was in this file)
- /mbforms/index.php (just updated the version number).

That's all for now, let me know if anyone has anymore problems!

mbForms Released!

General News My 5th Wolf CMS plugin is finally available for download.
You can download it Here.
And you can view the documentation here (Also included in the plugin itself).

Very, very pleased with how this turned out, I do have some 3 main plans for future releases which are:
- Allow file uploads as a field option.
- Provide some kind of validation options so you can validate for proper email address, numbers only (telephones, fax etc...) and so on.
- Provide the ability to store the the form results instead of / aswell as emailing you the results.

With the release of mbForms it has pretty much made mbContact obsolete, I will however keep mbContact available for download incase people still want it.

As always, if you find any issues with mbForms / have any suggestions then please email me!
